Michelle Nicole Brodland B.S., M.P.A.S., PA-C graduated from the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program at Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA in August, 2008. Before beginning her education as a PA, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology-Pre-Med at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT in 2005.
Ms. Brodland has prior experience in dermatology at Yale University working as a dermatology office assistant from 2004�2005 and as a clinical assistant for Zitelli & Brodland PC from 2001�2003.
Physician assistants have been practicing with dermatologists for more than 20 years, providing a wide variety of services, including diagnosis, prescribing medication in most states, ordering and interpreting lab tests, wound suturing, and medical or surgical treatment of a wide variety of clinical pathology. Ms. Brodland�s area�s of expertise include diagnostic dermatology as well as procedural and surgical dermatology. This includes extensive experience in the sub-specialty of Mohs surgery and laser surgery.
