Graduated from Vassar College in New York with honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She attended medical school at the University of Connecticut where she also completed both her medical school training and a Masters degree in Public Health in 2001. She performed research on skin cancer for the National Institute of Health for two years.
Dr. Bramlette completed her residency in Dermatology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2008, she completed a one year post residency fellowship in Mohs Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The training was approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery and the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education of the AMA under the direction of Drs. John Zitelli and David Brodland in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Bramlette has authored several articles and book chapters on skin cancer and Mohs surgery. She has presented at multiple national and international meetings for her research on cost, quality of life, and skin cancer outcomes. In 2008, her research on the use of the forehead flap for reconstruction of large nasal defects was nominated for the Tromovitch Award at the American College of Mohs Surgery Annual meeting. Dr. Bramlette is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and an Associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
